Duty & Responsibilities of Quality Manager:
- Quality In-charge/QCM must
take necessary steps & ensure the size set in done smoothly from the
beginning until the PP meeting & the production is in smooth progress.
- Must
take necessary steps & ensure the pilot test run of all style without fail.
- Must give the section wise approval before start the bulk Production.
- Must depute/assign his team members (QC In-charge, QC and Inspector) by name for particular line or some machines to look after and improve the quality.
- Must
brief his men about the quality of product – In which style or stage how the quality would be
achieved.
- In
the process of working the floor Quality
In-charge/QCM has to maintain and ensure as below points:
- Total
quantity of production.
- Passed goods with good quality.
- OK goods after repaired & rectification.
- Damaged quantity for any reason (mentioning the category).
- Daily all quality reports must be collected, collated and analyzed by the Quality In-charge/QCM to make the decision for immediate improvement.
- Decision must be made for corrective and preventive action in production & quality.
- Quality In-charge/QCM along
with the PM must brief the production OPs, Supervisors, in-charge and Quality
team with others frequently about the quality problems and steps for
improvement of those.
- In case of excessive fault in quality, the operation (i.e. production) must be stopped until the improvement is done.
- Must
maintain the inline by buying QC/Buyer Nominated Factory Q.A Executive
during bulk production & ensure the Pre-Final inspection
pass before offer the final inspection.
- Must maintain his all types of report in official format and show those to higher authority with the aim of immediate & specific improvement.
- Must take necessary steps & ensure the implementation & adherence of international & national labor law, rules & regulations factory SOP & instruction.
- Provide training and guidance about Quality to all quality staff, including QC In-charge/QA/QC/Inspector and manage them properly.
